The name
Grace Hopper wrote the first compiler and kept a clock on her wall that ran backwards, her answer to anyone who said “we’ve always done it this way.” Grace is the discipline: precision, no waste, no shortcuts. Zero is the standard: zero defects, zero data loss, zero hidden costs, zero surprise failures. Complete zero is impossible. Aiming at it is the point.
